We adopted Monroe in 2012 and are elated he is still with us! Nearly two years ago, we brought our sweet boy home from surgery to have a tumor removed. His recovery went well. He was showing improvement in a few weeks' time and in a few months he was pretty much back to normal. Monroe is over 10 years old now.
Caroline Knapp's quote rings true, "Before you get a dog, you can’t quite imagine what living with one might be like; afterward, you can’t imagine living any other way.”
