Our Two Cockapoo's

I thought I would update blog viewers with a quick video of Buddy and Monroe. We are adjusting to only having two dogs again. Grief looks different for everyone including those of us that love and loses a pet. We believe that our dogs grieve too! 

We were shocked and then felt really miserable for a while as there is a dread of Lucky and Motley not being there to greet us when we come home from work or snuggle up next to us. We miss watching Lucky run around the yard in his wheelchair and miss sitting on the porch with  Motley at our feet. 

 

Both Buddy and Monroe appeared anxious at first and now Buddy has relaxed and Monroe is again playful. Buddy and Monroe were taken to the Veterinarian in July to make sure they appeared well. The veterinarian did state they are well but we should expect to notice our cockapoos are aging as they are senior dogs. 

Both dogs assume a position on their sofa so they can be near us and still look out the window. 

They are adapting as are we. They have been enjoying their daily walks, playing in the yard, and going to the dog park with us.
