Water Works Park Port Clinton
Water Works Park, in a park complex known as City Beach, is located on the shoreline of Lake Erie in Port Clinton, Ohio.
If you park your car in the parking lot along the river you can take this paved path to the restored lighthouse.
We took this path. It was quite amazing to see this lighthouse as we remembered it being lifted by crane and moved to eventually make its way to where it rests now.
When we were done checking out the lighthouse, we spent some time on this bench just beyond it. You can find the video of this here.
This vantage point provided us with a decent view of ferries, sailboats and a Lake Erie water snake. And from here you can see down the beach.
If you turn your head and look behind you to the left you'd see the lighthouse. Here, you will recognize there is open space bound on three sides by the Portage River, Lake Erie, and a natural preserve.

In truth, we find that Water Works Park in Port Clinton is beautiful most any time of day or night.
